1. Once you have initiated a check via BrightChecks your client will receive an email stating you have requested an ID check, why it needs to be done and what they need. It will also contain this button at the end of it to begin the check process.

2. Once clicked you will be brought to the following screen

3. You will then be asked to review and accept The T&C's for credas. Note you do have to scroll down and tick the box before you can proceed.

4. If you have initiated this from your PC or Laptop you will then be asked if you want to continue on this device or swap to Mobile. We would recommend swapping to mobile as the pass rate on these images on modern phones vs web cameras is much higher.  your regcode will also be displayed. Please take note of this in case its needed later.
 

5. If you continue to desktop it will immediately begin confirming the required details. If you have swapped to mobile you will first get this screen - This also offers a 6 digit code for the client to use on the mobile app or here: https://myconnect.credas.com/register
.

Simply use your camera on your phone to take a photo of the QR code. This will initiate the process on your phone and you can then continue from there.

6. The Process starts by confirming your name and DOB (if applicable for the check type selected)

7. (Enhanced checks only) Confirm your current address details. Below is a snippet of the screen. Ensure the details are correct. if any of the details that auto populate here are incorrect please revert back to your accountant so they can correct it in their system and re-issue a new check.

After you confirm the address details are correct on screen the next part of the page will ask you to either upload an image of your proof of address or take a photo now. It will also ask you if you have been at this propery for greater than 1 year.

7. Next, you will receive some guidelines for your photo requirements to review and continue to the next screen. If you have been sent a basic Id check this is the first step in the process as you will not receive a request to confirm your address in the previous step.

8. You will then be asked what for of ID you are going to use. We do recommend using your passport as it increases your chances of being verfied.

9. You will be given and example and some rules around the photo requirements

10. Click take a photo to open your camera and capture the image of your passport as required. When you take the photo you wil be asked if you are happy with it before submitting it. If you have chose something else like a drivers license you will be asked to take a photo of the back of the card next.

11. Once your photo(s) have been submitted for the selected coument you will then be asked to take a picture of your face with some guidelines.

12. After you take the picture and submit it you will receive a confimration if the image is clear enough

13. For basic checks the process ends here and if you should receive a confirmation of the process being completed.
